System Remains Sound During Lizard Fire

As of Sunday, June 11th, this is an update on the Lizard Fire as it pertains to system operations for Arizona G&T Cooperatives/Arizona Electric Power Cooperative: the Apache-Butterfield 230kV line was re-energized at 7:29 a.m. Sunday, June 11th, and we do not anticipate any interruptions in service on this line.

Our system integrity is sound and again, no interruptions in system operations are anticipated.

Our line crews and line crews with Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative have been conducting system, line and infrastructure inspections and will continue to do so as conditions allow, with safety as our first priority.
