Cooperative Members

Arizona’s G&T Cooperatives are owned by six Class A member distribution cooperatives; the “founding four” cooperatives that established Arizona Electric Power Cooperative, Inc., (AEPCO) in 1961 – Duncan Valley Electric Cooperative (DVEC), Graham County Electric Cooperative (GCEC), Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative (SSVEC), and Trico; and Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) in Bullhead City in northwestern Arizona, which joined as a Class-A member in 1973 and Anza Electric Cooperative (AEC) in Anza, California, which joined as a Class A member in 1979. Together these cooperatives serve more than 144,000 commercial and residential customers.
The map on this page shows the locations and coverage areas of the Class-A Member distribution cooperatives. For more information on any of the member cooperatives click on the logo to be taken to that cooperatives web page.
All of these cooperatives are proud members of the Touchstone Energy family of cooperatives. As a Touchstone Energy cooperative, we’re held to a strict code of conduct and must uphold the four core Touchstone Energy values – accountability, integrity, innovation and commitment to community. There are more than 750 Touchstone Energy cooperatives nationwide in 47 states, delivering energy services to more than 30 million customers.
