Sierra Southwest Cooperative Services, Inc.

Sierra Southwest Cooperative Services, Inc. (Sierra) is the vehicle for developing new ways to serve the renewable energy needs of our Member cooperatives and customers and provides the mechanism to maximize solar and other renewable tax credits through cooperative lenders.

Sierra is responsible for two utility-scale solar projects: the 2 MW SunAnza solar project that is adjacent to the Anza EC headquarters in Anza, California, and the 20 MW Apache Solar project that is northeast of the Apache Generating Station at Cochise, Arizona. Sierra will continue to play a critical role as we adapt to the changing energy market landscape. Sierra’s board of directors is comprised of two members from the AEPCO board.
