Employee health is a priority. Beyond providing employee health and wellness programs, we provided COVID-19 vaccines to AzGT and ACES employees and their families at vaccination clinics at our Benson campus. Registered nurse Susan Lange performs a nasal swab test in Benson.
We work with the Grand Canyon State Electric Cooperative Association to communicate with elected officials on issues that are important to us.

“Concern for Community” is a core principle of cooperative organizations, and we demonstrate our commitment to this principle in everything we do.

AzGT has a longstanding tradition of working to enrich our community by:

  • Providing jobs
  • Supporting the regional economy
  • Sponsoring economic development loans
  • Encouraging people to get involved in their community by registering and voting
  • Supporting our communities through our membership in Touchstone Energy
  • Donating to worthwhile causes through sponsorships
  • Providing a speakers bureau on electric industry issues

Employees are a critical part of our community. Employee safety is a top priority.

We continue to upgrade and strengthen physical security and cybersecurity to protect our employees and communities, and to ensure electric reliability.
