Director of Organizational Operations
Brian brings a wealth of leadership, financial expertise, and utility industry experience to this role. Since April 2025, he has served as Principal Financial Strategist at AEPCO, where he has played a key role in providing strategic financial guidance and supporting organizational initiatives.
Prior to joining AEPCO, Brian was the CEO at Tohono O'odham Utility Authority, building on an already distinguished career in the electric utility industry. He also spent 10 years as Chief Financial Officer at Trico Electric Cooperative, where he provided strong financial leadership and contributed to the cooperative's long-term success. Brian has also held a variety of leadership and financial management positions with other cooperatives, including Central New Mexico Electric Cooperative, Valley Electric Association, and Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative.
Brian's broad experience across finance, accounting, operations, and executive leadership makes him exceptionally well qualified for this new role. His proven ability to improve processes, develop strategic solutions, and lead high-performing teams will be a tremendous asset as we continue to strengthen our organization and serve our Members.
